Wreck Closes Turner for Several Hours near Kellyville

BRISTOW, Okla. (AP) — An auto accident on eastbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike shut down traffic just east of Bristow for nearly two hours. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the collision at mile marker 208 in Creek County caused the shutdown of eastbound traffic on the turnpike — which is also on Interstate 44 — for one hour, 53 minutes late Saturday afternoon. The crash occurred about 3:50 p.m. and the lanes were reopened about 5:45 p.m. Saturday. The patrol did not immediately release details about the accident and whether there were any injuries yesterday.
