The 85-year-old woman, severely beaten in a home invasion near Harvard and Virgin earlier this week, has died. Her elderly husband is in serious condition.

Tulsa Police say 85-year-old Nancy Strait died around 7:30 last night at a Tulsa hospital.  90-year-old Bob Strait remains hospitalized. Both were found unconscious in their home on Wednesday afternoon. Their car was also missing. The discovery was made by their adult daughter.

Police do have a suspect in custody. He is identified as 21-year-old Tyrone Woodfork.  He is being held on numerous complaints, including first degree murder, armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. He was arrested as officers recovered the couple’s stolen car.
