OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A federal jury in Oklahoma has found two Los Angeles men guilty of drug charges that carry possible sentences of life in prison.
Acting Oklahoma City U.S. Attorney Mark A. Yancey says 23-year-old gang member Wesley Tavion Grant and 20-year-old community college student Larenzo Montel Gabourel were convicted Friday of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute PCP.
Yancey says Grant was also convicted of distribution of PCP, and Gabourel was found guilty of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
Prosecutors say an undercover FBI agent purchased PCP from Grant in May 2015. Authorities then executed a search warrant that led to the seizure of nearly a gallon of PCP.
The drugs represent almost 3,200 individual doses with a street value of more than $40,000.
