Two Supermarkets to Close

KWGS News File Photo

The Warehouse Market Supermarket chain is closing two of its Tulsa area stores. The company says the Cox Cash Saver in Broken Arrow and the Warehouse Market at 51st and Union will be closing.

The stores have been suffering from declining sales and stiff competition from other retailers.  The firm says when the stores deplete inventory, they  will shut down.

Warehouse Market is the Tulsa area's oldest supermarket chain. It opened its first store in downtown Tulsa in 1938.
