TU's Oklahoma Center for the Humanities and Musical Theatre Dept. Co-Present "The Vaudeville Museum"

Jan 22, 2016

On this installment of ST, we learn about "The Vaudeville Museum" -- a special evening of Vaudeville history, perspective, and performance -- that will be staged at TU's McFarlin Library at 7pm both tonight and tomorrow night (the 22nd and 23rd). It's an interactive, interdisciplinary, and free-to-the-public presentation that's recently been created by Machele Miller-Dill, Director of TU's Musical Theatre Program, who also performs in this throwback event and is one of our guests today. Our other guest is Adrian Alexander, Dean of McFarlin Library, who also performs in "The Vaudeville Museum," which might be described as part guided tour, part public lecture, part showbiz revue, and part raunchy joke-fest. It is vaudeville, after all. (More about the "The Vaudeville Museum" can be found here.) Also on our program, commentator Janet Pearson is thinking about that (alas) inescapable facet of the modern-day workplace: office politics.
