Tulsa Police believe they’ve caught the suspect who wears a scream mask to rob pharmacies.

Officer Demita Kinard says the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force knew the man was going to hit the CVS at 21st and Harvard, and he showed up around 8:20 a.m. today.

"They had secured the door so he couldn't get in," Kinard said. "A foot pursuit ensued, he got into his car, he was able to drive off a little bit. He rammed several police cars, then he eventually — they were able to subdue him outside of the vehicle."

Several shots were fired. The suspect was hit once in the leg and taken to the hospital.

The violent crimes task force is investigating the string of robberies. TPD will investigate the shooting.
