Tulsa Police Investigate Possible Sex Trafficking Connections to Alleged Prostitution Ring

Tulsa County Jail Booking photo

A website leads Tulsa vice officers to an alleged prostitution ring and allegations of sex trafficking. Police Officer Leland Ashley says three people were arrested as a result of a sting operation…a follow-up that began with an advertisement on an escort page website. One person was arrested on a soliciting prostitution charge, and another for pandering. A third person was arrested on a drug charge. The sting was conducted at an east Tulsa motel.

After claims by the woman arrested that she and some others were forced into prostitution, detectives are looking into the possibility that sex trafficking is involved.
