Tulsa, OK – 120-Tulsa Fire fighters fill four buses and head to Oklahoma City to lobby state lawmakers. The fire-fighters are concerned about proposed changes to their pension plans.

Among those making the trip was Tulsa Fire Chief Allan LaCroix. He is concerned the changes will make recruiting more difficult.

Under the proposed changes, fire-fighters would have to work 25-years, rather than 20-years to get a pension.

Also, the legislature is looking at eliminating binding arbitration for police and fire unions.
