There are no reports of injuries associated with a mid-morning business fire in the 3700 block of East Admiral. Thick smoke was pouring from a small structure, across the street from the long closed Piggy-Wiggly supermarket, when fire fighters arrived.
Fire crews brought in a snorkel truck to help fight the fire from above. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The fire was just a few blocks away from an overnight blaze that destroyed an auto repair business. There are no known connections between the two fires.
