Tulsa Congressman to Hold Town Hall on Tax Reform

File photo

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma freshman congressman Jim Bridenstine is scheduled to hold a town hall meeting to discuss tax reform.

The town hall is scheduled for Aug. 27 at the Spirit Bank Event Center in south Tulsa. It's free and open to the public.

The event will feature a panel of experts discussing the current tax code and questions from constituents.

The panel includes radio talk show host Neal Boortz and tax lawyer and University of Tulsa College of Law professor Dennis Bires, among other guests.

Bridenstine is a Republican from Tulsa who made tax reform part of his platform last year when he defeated five-term incumbent Republican John Sullivan in the GOP primary on his way to winning the seat in November.
