TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa recently claimed the award for best-tasting water in the region for the second year in a row at the Southwestern American Water Works Association's annual conference.
Clayton Edwards, the city's water and sewer department director, says the award confirms the thorough treatment and testing process Tulsa's water goes through before reaching a resident's faucet.
Edwards says 1,400 samples are tested each month to ensure the best water is being distributed.
