University of Tulsa's Athletic Director is placed on leave. University President Steadman Upham took the action this afternoon. It comes following allegations of gambling in Ross Parmley's past. Parmley is 39. He has been the TU AD since earlier this year and began working for the University about 2005. There are NO charges against Parmley. The allegations came to light as part of a case involving a suspected bookie in Oklahoma City.

TU Athletic Director Ross Parmley has been placed on paid administrative leave pending further investigation into allegations of gambling. In the interim, Executive Vice President Kevan Buck will be acting athletic director.
