Three Tulsa Murders in 18 Hours

Tulsa County Booking Photo

Tulsa Police Homicide Detectives saw their caseload expand by three yesterday. Three people were killed in unrelated murders scattered throughout the city. One person has been arrested.

Gregory Epperson was booked for killing a 19-year-old woman at a south Tulsa apartment. The woman came home and apparently interrupted a burglary. There was  no known relationship between the teen and Epperson. He is being held on a First Degree Murder complaint.

A man was shot and later died outside of a mom-and-pop store and gas station at Apache and North Yale. The store had cameras, but they apparently  were not working. That shooting took place yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, man was shot last night near Pine and North Peoria. He walked into a store and told clerks he had been shot. He left the scene and was found dead a few blocks away.
