Teen Killed, Others Injured in Mayes County Crash

SPAVINAW, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one teenager was killed and two others were critically injured in a single-vehicle crash near Spavinaw in Mayes County.

An OHP report says a 15-year-old boy from Spavinaw died in the collision just about 1:15 a.m. Thursday. His name was not immediately released.

The report says the boy was a passenger in a car that went off the roadway and crashed into several trees before overturning. A 16-year-old boy who was driving the car and a 19-year-old passenger are both hospitalized in Tulsa in critical condition while another 15-year-old who was also in the car is hospitalized in stable condition.
