Del City, OK – Authorities say no one was hurt when an oil tank battery caught fire as it was being demolished in Del City.
Fire Maj. Brandon Pursell says there was nothing was inside the tank, but some debris on the outside ignited Thursday morning at N.E. 10th Street and Vickie Drive.
There were no injuries and no evacuations were ordered.
Officials did close part of N.E. 10th while crews worked to put the fire out.
