Just blocks away from the Tulsa Police Department's Gilcrease Division, a man is tazed and  shot by Tulsa Police.  The incident happened Friday evening about dusk.

Officers spotted a stalled car near 36th Street North and Lewis. As officers approached the car, a man appeared. Officers say the man was told to halt and raise his hands, but did not comply with the officers' orders.

When the man suddenly reached through a open car window, officers fired. One officer is said to have used a tazer while the other used his service weapon. The man, identified by Police as,   40-year-old Terrence Crutcher was rushed to St-John Medical Center where he died.

The names of the officers involved have not been released. Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan will hold a news conference on the matter on Monday afternoon.
