A Tulsa elementary student is going to be just fine, after being struck this morning by a car on his way into school.
Tulsa Police say the youngster was crossing the street at the “drop-off” location at the Springdale Elementary School when he was knocked down by a car backing-up. The child suffered some injuries to his elbow, but was otherwise unharmed. He was treated on the scene by EMSA.
The school is located on Pine just east of Lewis Avenue.
