Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's installment of StudioTulsa, we speak by phone with William Eskridge, Jr., who's the Garver Professor of Jurisprudence at Yale Law School. Professor Eskridge will present the 15th Annual John W. Hager Distinguished Lecture on Thursday, January 20th, at 5pm at The University of Tulsa College of Law. His lecture, entitled "Discrimination to Protect Liberty: New Arguments against Equality for Women and Gay People," will be delivered in John Rogers Hall on the TU campus. Eskridge's main areas of interest as a teacher include constitutional law; legislation; sexuality, gender, and the law; and theories of statutory interpretation.
