Some Reportedly Knew of Shortey's Suspected Porn Obsession

Cleveland County Detention Center

Records show at least two people knew about child pornography on a former Oklahoma state lawmaker's computer, but failed to disclose that information to authorities until years later after police reportedly found the lawmaker in a motel room with a 17-year-old boy.

The details were revealed in an application for a search warrant unsealed last week. Former Republican state Sen. Ralph Shortey faces charges of child sex trafficking and producing and transporting child pornography.
