The National Weather Service says snow is likely through out much of eastern Oklahoma this afternoon through the weekend.
Snow, sleet and freezing rain are all in the forecast. The service issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for portions of eastern Oklahoma. However, Tulsa is not covered in the advisory.
City Crews in Tulsa are ready to respond to any road related problems. ODOT says it will also be ready to respond.
Broken Arrow plans to initiate snow operations this Saturday, unless the weather dictates otherwise.
