Snow Causes Morning Problems

KWGS News

About one-half of an inch of snow fell on Tulsa overnight. That was enough to cause morning commute problems.

Tulsa Street Crews started treating the city streets around midnight. Bridges and overpasses are slick.

O-Dot has been treating the expressways. At least two lanes, each direction are cleared on most of the expressways. In a news release, O-Dot said "Crews are plowing and applying salt and sand to interstates and highways. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution on their morning commutes, and to give at least 200 feet to road-clearing equipment."

All major school districts are open.
