Norman, OK – Fire destroys apartment building in Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Firefighters in central Oklahoma are battling a massive blaze at an apartment complex that has destroyed at least one building so far.

Norman Deputy Fire Chief Jim Bailey says Friday that the fire has spread to a second building and at least two vehicles. Bailey says several residents have been evacuated from buildings at the University Commons apartment complex on the city's south side.

There weren't any immediate reports of injuries.

Bailey says seven engine companies and two paramedic crews responded to the scene.
