Senator Inhofe's Son Owned Crashed Plane; Family Says Dr. Perry Inhofe Was Killed

Central State Orthopedic

KWGS News has confirmed the plane which crashed yesterday afternoon near Owasso, was owned by the son of Oklahoma U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe. The pilot was killed in the crash.

Dr. Perry Inhofe had recently purchased the plane.  There has been no official confirmation as to who was killed in the crash. Members of the Inhofe family say it was Dr. Inhofe who was killed.  Central States Orthopedic Specialists, where Dr. Inhofe practices, told KWGS, it could have a statement possibly later this afternoon.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the body was taken to the Tulsa Medical Examiner's Office, but since this is a holiday, no one is at the office.
