Tulsa, OK –
Tired of gang violence and crime, activist Twan Jones calls on the North Tulsa community to stand-up for itself. Jones and other leaders say they are tired of the violence.

Jones and others are calling for an end to the code-of-silence in North Tulsa. They are urging the community to work with authorities it ridding it of violence.
Jason Trent knows first-hand the sting of violence. His teenage son was shot and killed. He says the killer is still running free because no one will snitch.

Jamal Ali is with the Nation of Islam. He is calling for a community re-birth. He says gang members don't care if you are Christian or Muslim.

The group, calling itself the Ministry of Justice met today and are planning a series of community outreach gatherings to take back their community.
