Sapulpa, OK – Police: Woman shot, killed in northeast Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Authorities say a woman was shot to death after an apparent domestic dispute in northeast Oklahoma.

Sapulpa Police Detective Bret Bowling says authorities responded to a call for a domestic dispute about 2 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot to death. She has not been identified.

Authorities say a dispute started at one home between a man and a woman, who fled to a neighbor's home.

Bowling says the man shot through the neighbor's door, hitting the neighbor, not the woman whom he was fighting with.

Police say the alleged shooter, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on domestic abuse complaints. Other charges could be added later.
