Roof Collapse under snow weight

Pryor, OK – Heavy snow causes roof collapse in Pryor

PRYOR, Okla. (AP) Heavy snow in Pryor caused the collapse of a roof at a manufacturing plant.

The collapse occurred Wednesday at Power Soak, located at the MidAmerica Industrial Park. Part of the building also caved in after the flat roof gave way under the third round of snowfall.

There were no reports of injuries. The facility was not operating at the time of the collapse.

Michael Dunham of Mayes County Emergency Management says employees worked at the plant overnight, but were gone by the time the collapse occurred.

Power Soak manufactures pot-washing equipment used in restaurants, hospitals and churches. It is owned by Cantrell Industries.
