Tulsa, OK – As the fires around Tulsa continue to increase, the Red Cross continues to help out more needy families. On average, they respond to two fires per day, says Donita Quesnel, the Senior Director of Communications at the Red Cross in Tulsa. She expects the fires will continue as more people turn on their heaters for winter.
A thousand dollars is spent for a family of four to provide food, shelter, and whatever other amenities may be needed. The Red Cross continually relies on donations throughout the year so that it may continue to serve the community.
