'Person of Interest' in Quadruple Murders Taken Into Custody in Kansas

Tulsa Police

Authorities in Independence, Kansas are holding 33-year-old Joseph Tillman for Tulsa Police. He was arrested after a traffic stop this morning.

Tillman was already wanted for domestic violence in Tulsa. He is known to frequent the area near 61st and Peoria. That is where four women were found shot to death on Monday afternoon at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments.

Police are NOT calling Tillman a suspect, but they think he may have information.

The victims are 55-year-old Julie Jackson,  33-year-old Misty Nunley and 23-year-old twins, Rebecca Powell and Katie Melcore.
