The Tulsa School Board will hear from the public tonight on a proposal to renamed four Tulsa Schools. The schools are named after slave owners or men who were known to mistreat native peoples.
The schools are Robert E. Lee, Andrew Jackson, Christopher Columbus and Jean-Pierre Chouteau. The board is not expected to take any action this evening. That is not expected until its March 15 th meeting at the very earliest.
