Opioid Law Gets Opposition

file photo

Oklahoma’s new opioid law goes into effect in just a few weeks. It is designed to put the breaks on Oklahoma’s opioid crisis. Not everyone is happy.

Many of those who use the drugs correctly for pain management fear the products will be harder to obtain after November 1st.

A group has formed and is trying to get the Oklahoma law tweaked. They claim the suicide rate among legitimate users goes  up when they can not get relief from the pain.  However, the number is flat for addicts.
