OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — U.S. Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma will be a featured speaker next month at an annual gathering of conservatives in suburban Washington.
The first-term Republican from Edmond has been invited to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference, better known as CPAC. The event is March 2nd through 5th in National Harbor, Maryland.
He will join several GOP presidential candidates, including Donald Trump, Carly Fiorina, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.
Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2014 to fill an unexpired term, Lankford will run again this year for a full six-year term.
Lankford said this week he hasn't decided whether to endorse a candidate in the GOP primary.
Oklahoma's senior U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe has endorsed U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.
