Oklahoma Storms

By AP

Norman, OK – Employees at the National Weather Service and Storm Prediction Center found themselves heeding their own advice when they took cover as tornadoes barreled through Oklahoma.

Storm Prediction Center spokeswoman Keli Tarp says the employees in the building were told to go to a shelter as a tornado passed by in south Norman. There have been no reports of damage or injuries at the center.

Numerous severe storms moved through Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon, killing at least four people and leaving damage scattered throughout western and central sections of the state.
