HOUSTON (AP) — Oklahoma's oil patch added two rigs this week.

That's according to Houston-based oilfield services company Baker Hughes Incorporated. The company reported Friday that 1,413 rigs were exploring for oil and 448 were searching for gas in the U.S. Three rigs were listed as miscellaneous.

West Texas intermediate crude closed the week at $99 a barrel on Friday as President Barack Obama announced that he was sending warships and Marines to Libya, where the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were killed on Tuesday.
