OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — AAA Oklahoma says gasoline prices in the state and nation are declining.

In Oklahoma, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.48 Tuesday, with some stations in the Oklahoma City area selling fuel at or near $2 per gallon. The state hit its 2015 high price of $2.65 on July 22.

AAA Oklahoma says the national average stands at $2.64 per gallon, down six cents from last week and 13 cents from one month ago.

The resolution of local refinery issues and lower prices for crude oil have kept downward pressure on prices at the pump, which have fallen in Oklahoma for 13 straight days and nationally for 20 consecutive days. AAA Oklahoma says drivers are paying the lowest average pump prices for this date since 2009.
