Mustang, OK – Mustang police officer charged with harming child

MUSTANG, Okla. (AP) A Mustang police officer is facing a charge of domestic abuse for allegedly beating his 12-year-old stepdaughter.

Oklahoma City television station KOCO reports Blaine Thomason Condreay of Mustang is accused by authorities of twice using a wooden paddle to spank the girl. Condreay turned himself in at the Canadian County Jail on Oct. 21 after an arrest warrant was issued.

Investigators say the girl suffered extensive bruising, pain and marks to her lower back and back of her thigh.

Condreay doesn't have a listed phone number and couldn't be reached for comment. It was unclear whether he has a lawyer.

Mustang Police Chief Chuck Foley says Condreay is a fine officer and that he was stunned by the allegation.
