Tulsa, OK – Wall Street protest draws about 150 in Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. (AP) About 150 people marched in Tulsa as part of an ongoing protest nationwide against Wall Street.
Demonstrators shouted and carried signs "We are the 99%" and "Corporations are not people" as they walked around downtown Tulsa on Saturday.
Occupy Tulsa co-organizer Daniel Lee told the Tulsa World the route of the march was constructed to go past financial, corporate and governmental offices to illustrate how he said those institutions are working together to lead to "the destruction of people's freedom."
Lee said the spirit of the march wouldn't fade, and Saturday's event was just the beginning.
