(Is Paris is the one city outside of the U.S. where the most jazz recordings have been made? Quite possibly. In any case, recent events got us thinking about, among other things, all the great sides that've been cut in "the City of Light" over the years.) Thus we'll hear from Don Byas, Diana Krall, Martial Solal, Dizzy Gillespie, and so forth -- in recordings that date from the 1940s through the early 2000s.
