News Conference Set in Serial Rape Case

Tulsa Police

Tulsa Police will hold a news conference mid-afternoon to discuss the hunt for Tulsa's serial rape suspect. Since the 5th of June, there have been eight sexual assaults on women in Tulsa homes. All of the attacks have taken place in the early morning hours following a home or apartment invasion.

Police have set up a command post at the Tulsa fair grounds to coordinate the investigation into this case. Fifty officers and detectives have been assigned to this detail. Police Chief, Chuck Jordan, says getting the suspect off the streets is a top priority.

KWGS' Matt Trotter will be at the news conference this afternoon. We will have reports both here and on air this afternoon.
