The city of Tulsa has opened a new mulch site where you may take your green waste. The new site is between 129th and 145th East Avenues just north of Pine Street. Streets and Storm Water Department Operations Manager Scott Van Loo says the new location is much larger.
The old mulch site on 56th Street North is now closed. The new site will take yard waste, but not other types of waste. You must be a Tulsa citizen to use the site, and you can also receive free mulch and firewood at the new city location.
