OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt's chief of staff has been appointed by the governor to fill the unexpired term of the late Labor Commissioner Mark Costello, who was stabbed to death in August. Governor Mary Fallin announced Tuesday she was appointing Melissa McLawhorn Houston to be the state's labor commissioner until January 2019. Houston has been Pruitt's chief of and policy adviser since 2011.
