Muskogee Mall Shooting Update

By Associated Press

Muskogee, OK – Hearing set for man accused in Okla. mall shooting

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) A Muskogee County judge has scheduled an Aug. 2 preliminary hearing for a man accused of fatally shooting a teenager at a Muskogee mall.

Prosecutors have charged 19-year-old Dondray Fowler with first-degree murder in the April 10 killing of 17-year-old Jerrod Reed at Arrowhead Mall.

Attorney L. Wayne Woodyard was appointed to represent Fowler. Attempts to reach Woodyard for comment Thursday weren't successful.

May 18 preliminary dates also were scheduled for Anton Nelson, Augusta Parker and Tenesha Nunley, all of whom are charged with accessory to first-degree murder and accessory to assault and battery.

Nunley's attorney, James Walters, says prosecutors may try to make an example of Nunley, who allegedly transported Fowler and two others away from the mall and sheltered them.
