Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's StudioTulsa, we speak with Robert Elias, executive director of the OREL Foundation. This organization is dedicated to both rediscovering and promoting music that was suppressed by the Nazis. (There's much information about this interesting foundation at orelfoundation.org.) Elias will be the keynote speaker at this year's Interfaith Yom Hashoah Community Commemoration, which happens at 7pm on Thursday (the 6th) at Temple Israel in Tulsa (which is located at 2004 East 22nd Place). Elias will speak in particular on "Ghetto Theresienstadt: Hitler's Unwitting Gift to the World." The event is free to the public. For more information, visit jewishtulsa.org or call 918-495-1100.
