More Floods Possible

By Associated Press

Tulsa, Okla. – TULSA, Okla. (AP) The National Weather Service says heavy rain is likely to continue falling in parts of Oklahoma through Friday and that more flooding is possible.

Almost all of the state are under either a flood watch or flash flood watch.

A tropical air mass is moving through the state, bringing the chance of thunderstorms with heavy rain.

Rain chances are forecast to continue through Monday.

The Tulsa area had street flooding Thursday morning.

On Wednesday, rescue crews recovered the body of a 13-year-old boy who was swept away by flood waters in Oklahoma City.

Forecasters say flood chances are higher because of recent rains that have saturated many areas.
