RE: MISSING PERSON - BODY FOUND
Okmulgee, Okla. - On the afternoon of January 20, 2010 the body of a missing 49 year old Henryetta man STEPHON TURRENTINE was recovered from a farm pond near Grayson, Okla. by the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of Muscogee Creek Nation Emergency Management and the Morris Fire Department
STEPHON TURRENTINE's body was identified at the scene and his family was notified by the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
In a rural area of the county which was previously searched by friends and his family members, as-well-as the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office, a local rancher discovered the body in a farm pond on his property.
The Oklahoma State Medical Examiners office took possession of the body and will performing an autopsy to determining the cause of death.
STEPHON TURRENTINE of Henryetta, Okla. was last seen by his family on December 16, 2009 at around 9:00 PM. Mr. Turrentine was walking south on Highway 52 between Morris and Grayson in rural Okmulgee County.
