Tulsa, OK – Did Mayor Bartlett rush his decision to extend EMSA's contract as Tulsa Ambulance Service? As we reported on-air yesterday, the Fire Fighters Union and some on the city council think so. Mayor Bartlett says everything was reviewed and he visited with leaders in other communities using EMSA.

The Fire Department proposal indicated it could save money. But, the Mayor says when the figures were reviewed; salary benefits were not calculated correctly. He says that would have wiped out the savings and then some.
