On this edition of StudioTulsa, we welcome back to our show Marcello Angelini, the longtime artistic director of Tulsa Ballet, who tells us about the company's latest production. It's a three-part evening -- entitled "Signature Series" -- that features some of Angelini's favorite ballets: "Serenade" by George Balanchine (music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky), "Remansos" by Nacho Duato (music by Enrique Granados), and "Infra" by Wayne McGregor (music by Max Richter). "Signature Series" will staged at the Lorton Performance Center on the TU campus on May 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15; more information, including show times, can be found here. Angelini also tells us about Tulsa Ballet's recent tour of Italy, which drew widely enthusiastic audiences and gushing reviews, and about some of the special presentations that the company will be staging in its next season.
