CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a car has struck and killed a man who was trying to cross a highway in northeast Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Monday 63-year-old Thomas Winslow died at the scene of the accident about 9:24 p.m. in Rogers County.
Troopers say Winslow was on the south side of the highway when he was hit by a vehicle that was traveling west.
The driver and two passengers in the car weren't hurt.
