KWGS FIle Photo

A Pawhuska man is in a Tulsa hospital after his Harley-Davidson slammed into a cow. It happened about 5:30 this morning on Highway 60 in Kay County, west of Tonkawa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 60-year-old Kenneth Tucker was taken to a Ponca City Hospital, but then transferred to St-John's Hospital in Tulsa, where he is listed as being in critical condition.

The patrol says he was riding his motorcycle this morning when he encountered several head of cattle in the roadway. He hit a 700 pound heifer and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet.
