TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A man accused of breaking into vehicles in Tulsa was arrested after police shot at him with pepper-ball guns and he fell off of a roof.
The Tulsa World reports officers responded to a report of a burglary of a vehicle at a home early Thursday. The suspect was later found going through a second vehicle before he ran from police.
Authorities say the man was spotted on a resident's roof. Officers say the man refused to come down and pepper-ball rounds were fired at his hiding spot.
According to a police report, the suspect ran and slipped, causing him to fall off the roof. He was arrested on two complaints of burglary from a vehicle and resisting arrest. He was transported to a hospital for treatment of cuts, as well as bites and scratches from a police dog.
