Police say a woman was rescued in Tulsa after being kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend.
According to Tulsa police, Broken Arrow police attempted to pull over a vehicle with two occupants early Sunday, but the driver refused to stop. After a pursuit, authorities say the vehicle crashed on a highway on-ramp within Tulsa city limits.
Jared Mann, 23, was arrested, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Police say the woman told officers she had kidnapped.
The suspect is being held in the Tulsa Jail on complaints of kidnapping after a former conviction of a felony, three counts of domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and larceny.
